In the wake of some apparent success with its flagship software, Exposure X4, and with X5 on the horizon, AlienSkin has decided to change it name to Exposure Software.
In so doing, they are saying goodbye to their very recognisable logo of yesteryear:
and saying hello to a rather nondescript new one
that makes me think of VMware – note the similarity to one of their logos
and the typeface is a close analogue of Helvetica – possibly Kommon Grotesk – and thereby a rather safe option.
Since it seems unlikely that Exposure would be looking to be acquired by VMware, here’s hoping that, in time, they’ll come up with something unique again.
